Mr. Mario man is growing like a weed. He had a pediatrician appointment on Monday and weight in at 6 lbs 13.5 oz! His doctor was very pleased with how well he is doing. We don't have to wake him up every 3 hours at night any more and can let him sleep up to 6 hours at night. Of course, since she said that he's been getting up every 2-4 hours wanting to eat. He is now eating 3oz (about 90mL) per feeding when he takes a bottle. She gave us the green light to go to every other feeding breastfeeding. He's getting a little better at the breastfeeding thing and I think just requires more and more practice.
Little man is becoming more alert and wanting to play more. He is really enjoying his bouncy seat and swing. I'm enjoying them too, because it gives us more options of things to do with him and still let's me do things like pump and eat :) He's holding his head up and pushing himself up on his arms a bit during tummy time. He's also starting to stiffen his legs when you hold him in a standing position on your lap or another surface. He doesn't do it for long, and not all the time, but he's definitely growing and gaining more muscle control.
He is also wearing predominately newborn clothes now, the preemie clothes are getting packed away.
We haven't had any visitors in a while, so no news on that front. Hopefully someone will come see us soon!
